EcoVadis, the world’s most trusted provider of business sustainability ratings, evaluates over 150 000 companies across 175 countries and 200 industries. The Platinum Medal, its highest honour, is awarded to the top 1% of companies demonstrating outstanding sustainability practices and exceptional management systems addressing key sustainability criteria.

including a perfect score of 100/100 in the environmental dimension.

Sonoco Metal Packaging EMEA leads with accountability, transparently reporting Scope 1, 2, and 3 greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions annually. With bold ambitions, we are driving a 50% reduction in Scope 1 and 2 emissions and a 30% reduction in Scope 3 emissions by 2030, paving the way to carbon neutrality by 2050. Demonstrating real impact, we surpassed our GHG reduction targets four years ahead of schedule in 2023. As a proud signatory of the UN Global Compact and a committed partner of the Science Based Targets Initiative, we continue to set the standard for sustainable progress.
