Expanding Sonoco’s Presence in EMEA

With the integration of Eviosys, Sonoco’s presence in the EMEA region has surged from 14% to more than 40% of the Company’s global sales. The acquisition positions Sonoco, already an established leader in metal packaging in the United States, as a pivotal player in the European packaging landscape.

Now the world’s largest metal packaging manufacturer, Sonoco has almost quadrupled the number of its metal packaging plants worldwide through the acquisition, only enhancing Sonoco’s ability to deliver unparalleled value, operational agility, and scalability to Fast Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG) brands across multiple markets. Building on Eviosys’ strong heritage of innovation, sustainability, and operational excellence, Sonoco will continue to leverage its global reach and resources to support customers through increased production capacity, enhanced printing capabilities, and ongoing investment in renewable and efficient energy solutions.
